Student Absence Report

Wenatchee School District's policy of student absence accountability is the BECCA LAW. The BECCA LAW requires that actual parent/guardian contact is made to verify any/all absences. To facilitate this contact, we ask that you either:

• Call the school between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on any day that your child will not be in school, or
• E-mail the attendance secretary, Ms. Lamey, before 8:30 a.m. on or before the day your child will not be in school, with the following information:
  1. Your child's first and last name
  2. His/her classroom teacher
  3. Date of absence
  4. Reason for absence (illness, appointment, etc.)
  5. Your name and relationship to the student
